Product Overview
The Wine & Country Run is a 5 K run that starts and ends at Hampton Roads Winery. Being held Saturday late afternoon, October 17,2026, the starting gun goes off at 5 p.m. for runners to begin their race in front of the Goat Tower, traveling east on New Design Road, and then doing a loop on active farm roads and paths.
Prior to this, there will be a Kid's 1/2 Mile Run which encircles the vineyard in front of the winery. This run will begin at 4:30 p.m. sharp.
Adult participants over 21 will receive a commemorative t-shirt, along with a wineglass with a complementary pour, and a finisher's medal. All others will receive a t-shirt and a finishers medal. An additional bottle of wine will be provided for every 4 members in an Adult Team. Youth Teams of 4 or more will receive a free 2 liter bottle of soda.
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN; ENTER YOUR COUPON CODE AT CHECKOUT FOR A SURRY SCHOOL DISCOUNT. YOU MAY ALSO REGISTER AT THE WINERY DURING THE WEEK PRIOR TO THE RUN. REGISTRANTS SIGNING UP THE DAY OF THE RACE WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $5.
Food trucks will be on site following the race as we continue our celebration while listening to music.
The run will benefit Surry County Public School Athletic Programs.
